Rhia & Ross' Summer Soirée Wedding

29th September 2018 | Foxton Village Hall

A light and airy wedding with a pastel colour palette with accents of rose gold. Rhia & Ross transformed their blank canvas village hall. The couple knew they wanted this colour theme and the rest of the styling unfolded naturally.

Rhia's bridal prep was at her home and the details shots were complimented by the wonderful natural light and neutral decor. It was personal and intimate with her bridesmaids, man of honour and flower girls and of course not forgetting the dog. Rhia even baked a cake for her wedding party.

Rhia explains her wedding attire -

“Initially my dress was strapless with a lace overlay and as beautiful as it was it just wasn’t me. I tried on several dresses before I chose the final one but before I collected it I knew the changes I wanted to make. The final dress was a mixture of the three dresses that I’d cut it down to. Three weeks before the wedding I felt there was something missing so I emailed Hannah at The Lanes and she created a wonderful flower crown to match my bouquet."

We asked Mr & Mrs Ludford about their entertainment...

“There was absolutely no way that we’d have had any other entertainment than the band that entertain us every time we go to support the Leicester Tigers. We’d never seen them anywhere other than at Welford Road so were absolutely delighted to learn that they did other functions. With a room full of avid tigers fans they went down a treat.”

To finalise Rhia & Ross have some advice for other couples. “Shop around for your resources and work out early on what will be the most costly, do whatever you can yourself and influence every aspect of the day because the magic you feel when everything comes together is priceless.”
